A brilliant student and successful pharmacist, Dr. Thomas Evans, PHG 1894, earned his degree early, moved to Newark, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, at age 20 and subsequently established and operated the two Evans drugstores in downtown Newark. At the time of his death in 1967, he had contributed $350,000 to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Northern University, including $100,000 for construction of the Robertson-Evans Pharmacy Building.
